Kelly's Recipe: My Smoked Salmon Pasta

My Smoked Salmon Pasta recipe is one that is hard not to love. If you want to impress your family and friends with this perfect pasta dish then they will for sure love you even more after they try this. Accompany it with a salad or enjoy it by itself, it's totally up to you. My family enjoys it as a dinner favourite and can never get enough of it. Luckily it only takes a few ingredients and short amount of time to create this masterpiece!


Serves: 2-3

Ingredients:

350g of fettuccine pasta

4 oz smoked salmon

3 cloves of garlic

1 tbsp of chopped dill

1/4 cup butter

1 cup of heavy cream

1/4 cup of white wine

pinch of salt and pepper


Preparation:

1) Boil pasta for the amount of cooking time on your package. Normally around 8mins or longer. Depends if you like it aldente. Personally I go for around 10mins.

2) Melt butter in a pan and saute garlic for 30 sec until fragrant.

3) Then add your cream and give it a stir. Add a pinch of salt and pepper (adjust to your liking) .

4) Cook the garlic cream on medium heat until it starts to thicken a little bit, then add in a 1/4 cup of white wine.

5) Cook down on low to med heat until the cream thickens into a thicker consistency, then add in your cooked pasta. Then turn off the heat. *Tip: make sure you taste your sauce to see if it needs extra salt or pep.

6) Slice your smoked salmon into strips and add to the pasta. Mix well with tongs.

7) Lastly sprinkle over your chopped dill for garnish.
