Chambar Restaurant
Chambar Restaurant. Location: Vancouver, BC.
Chambar is a Belgian inspired restaurant with a modern twist. Their menu changes seasonally, as they feature fresh and local ingredients. They are known to be popular for their fantastic Belgian waffles which I just can't get enough of. My experiences at Chambar has always left me coming back for more. Their food is not only presented with finesse, but their flavours intermingle beautifully. Personally I adored the bison carpaccio because it was a new twist on just traditional beef carpaccio. The cheese and charcuterie boards had a lovely selection of sharp cheeses accompanied with liver pâté and their addictive in-house made spiced nuts. As for the Belgian waffles it lived up to the hype. I ordered the salted caramel waffles, which was served with a dust of powdered sugar and a sprinkle of gold flakes on top the caramel sauce. The waffles melted heavenly in your mouth while the decadent caramel sauce accompanied it with delight. A friend of mine ordered the lavender earl gray waffles, which had a rich flavour, but couldn't beat the salted caramel sauce in my opinion. Chambar's Belgian waffles are the perfect way to end a pleasant gourmet dinner.
My dining experiences at Chambar has been met with a charming atmosphere and professional service each time. Their concistency is why I love to bring my friends and family to experience a good time and good food. I highly recommened dining at Chambar for a taste of their unqiue and modern cusine. Chambar definitely has the KellyEats stamp of approval!
